DIY Practical Colour

I have needed an inspiration and reminders board for a while and I finally found an idea I liked! I was inspired by a magazine clipping (that I cannot find for the life of me now) of a gilt frame with bright ribbons abstractly crossing it all over like a piece if modern art. I had this frame sitting around that my mom had picked up for free on craigslist and tried my own interpretation. The diagonal criss crossing would have looked chaotic in my small space but this hit the spot. Of course I bought the ribbon from ETSY!

I simply pulled the ribbon tight and stapled in to the back of the frame. The baby clothes pins were purchased at the local dollar store.
